Cannabinno’s website is subject to Swiss data protection law. In particular, it is compliant with the Federal Data Protection Act (DSG), as well as any applicable foreign data protection laws, such as the Basic Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union (EU). The EU recognises that Swiss data protection law guarantees adequate data protection.

Our website is accessed by means of transport encryption (SSL / TLS).

Access to our website is subject – as is all internet use – to general, random mass surveillance that is indiscriminate and takes place regardless of whether any suspicion exists. It is conducted by security authorities in Switzerland, the EU, the USA and other countries. We have no direct influence on the corresponding processing of personal data by secret services, police departments or other security authorities.

Statistical Evaluation

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”) for the statistical evaluation of the use and reach of our website which does not refer to individuals. Services from Third Parties

We host our website with Cyon , in Basel in Switzerland. At Cyon, standard  web server log files containing the following information are created whenever this website is accessed: IP address, date and time (including time zone), browser request including the origin of the request (referrer), operating system used including user interface and version, browser used including language and version, amount of data transferred. The log files are used to detect technical problems as well as to ensure security and for the statistical evaluation of the use of our website with the free open source software used by Cyon, AWStats.

This website uses Google Maps for embedding maps, Google Invisible reCAPTCHA for protection against bots and spam and YouTube for embedding videos. These services of the American Google LLC include the use of cookies and, as a result, data is transferred to Google in the USA, whereby we make the assumption that, in this context, no personal tracking takes place solely via the use of our website. Google is committed to ensuring an appropriate level of data protection in accordance with the American-European and the American-Swiss Privacy Shield . Fonts are integrated via Google and Typekit.

Processing of Personal Data

Comments and Forms

On our website, you can leave comments, fill in contact forms and subscribe to our newsletter. We also use cookies for this purpose. We store the information that visitors to our website enter in themselves. We may also store the IP address and time/date in order to combat misuse, in particular identity theft and spam.

Newsletter

We use a self-hosted instance of Mautic, an open-source solution for marketing automation, for newsletter distribution. This means that the same points apply to the technical aspects of data protection as to the website in general.

Unsubscribing from the newsletter is possible with every single newsletter email. Newsletters may contain graphics and/or web links that personally record whether and when an individual newsletter was opened in an email application and which web links were clicked on. Such graphics and/or web links record newsletter usage in order to ensure quality and enable improvements to our newsletter.

User Account

If you have created a user account while using this website and use it, a temporary cookie will be set which checks whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data.

When you log in, some cookies are created to store this login information. They expire automatically.
